“Upon my first visit to XT Phayathai, what first struck me was the sheer size of the project. I took it upon myself to create a project where, despite the building’s size and location, it still feels like home.
Blue represents peace, stability, and calm. Blue is comforting. It’s rather fitting, considering how the building, despite being in one of the busiest districts in Bangkok, creates a bubble of isolation from the noise and chaos below.
Throughout the photo series, this essence of the color is explored through different scales and contexts within the building. The ultimate goal is to evoke a sense of serenity and tranquility through the use of a limited color palette and planar compositions.
Despite the building’s size and location, it still feels like home.”

A continuation of my exploration in the atrium, I used the morning light to create pockets of visibility, not necessarily showcasing but rather hinting at the scale of the atrium by adding a subject in the lower right corner.
Using the corridor, I decided to photograph the scene backlit to emphasize the contrast of a human form with the design of the space.
Humanizing architecture
As evening came around, we took advantage of the blue hour light to create a mellow atmosphere within the interior.
By using light through the window, the frame embodies the comfort and solace of a naturally lit bedroom.
The idea was to portray the different spaces through one woman’s daily living experience.
Viewing the pool from above, my intention with this photograph was to create a blend of textures from the pool, the greenery, and the masonry into one frame.
The cold water is a fitting contrast to the heat of the Bangkok sun.
Two different pools in two different buildings, each with its unique facilities.
As she left the pool, she left these footprints along the edge, and the shadow cast by the sunlight created a playful composition.
I was drawn to the texture of the droplets and how the sunlight hit them just right.
As we passed the Sansiri Backyard, I was drawn to the pop of blue from a butterfly pea flower.
